Every Adsroid project carries more than just connected ad accounts — it carries the identity of the business itself. This isn’t a single field or a short description: it’s a full business profile covering positioning, audience, pain points, competitive arguments, and marketing strategy. This is what allows Claude to reason strategically about your account, not just report numbers.
How it works
Before interacting with any Google Ads or Meta Ads tool, Claude calls adsroid_get_projects_details. This tool retrieves, for your organization, the list of available Projects and — for each one — its identity, connected ad accounts, channels, and platform integrations.
This is always the first tool called in a conversation if no project is already selected. Once a project_id is identified, it’s reused across every subsequent tool call.
What’s inside a project’s identity
The identity is built from a deep analysis of the business — typically derived from its website and offering — and covers:
Basic Information
Website, industry sector, business type, main offer, and the full list of products and services.
Brand Communication
Brand positioning, tone of voice, and website objective — so Claude understands not just what the business sells, but how it talks about itself.
Target Audiences & USPs
Who the business sells to, and its unique selling points versus alternatives on the market.
Marketing Conversion Data
Estimated funnel stage, product urgency level, key marketing promises, and customer pain points — the specific problems the business solves for its customers.
Social Proof & Purchase Barriers
What credibility signals exist (badges, testimonials, reliability indicators) and what tends to hold prospects back from converting.
Advertising Insights
Identified keywords, recommended ad arguments, recommended ad formats, missing creative assets, and initial recommendations on ad types to test.
Example
Here’s a simplified excerpt of what this looks like for a real project:
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Main Offer | Conversational AI Agent for Advertising campaign management and optimization |
| Target Audiences | Agencies, freelancers managing multiple accounts, in-house marketing teams, e-commerce brands |
| Main USPs | Conversational AI agent, automated optimization with safety controls, unified multi-platform integration, real-time data with no server-side storage |
| Customer Pain Points | Manual campaign management wasting hours weekly, budget wasted on non-converting keywords, delayed reaction to issues |
| Recommended Ad Arguments | Reduce wasted spend through automation, save hours weekly, unified cross-platform view, proactive alerts |
Why this matters
Because Claude loads this full identity alongside your ad account data, it connects performance to strategy automatically. A few concrete examples:
- Recommendations align with USPs and positioning. If your identity highlights “unified multi-platform integration” as a strength, Claude can factor that into how it interprets cross-platform performance.
- Pain points shape priorities. If “budget wasted on non-converting keywords” is a known pain point, Claude is more likely to flag wasted spend proactively rather than wait to be asked.
- Ad copy and creative suggestions stay on-brand. Tone of voice and brand positioning inform how Claude phrases recommendations or drafts new ad content.
- You don’t need to re-explain your business every conversation. The full context — offer, audience, objectives, competitive arguments — is already loaded.
How project selection works
- One project in your workspace → Claude uses it automatically, without asking.
- Multiple projects → Claude matches your request to the right one (e.g., by client or account name you mention), or asks you to specify which project if it’s ambiguous.
Example:
“How is Client Dupont’s Meta Ads account performing this month?”
Claude retrieves the list of projects, matches “Client Dupont” to the corresponding project_id, loads that project’s full identity along with its ad account data, and reuses that same project_id for every following tool call in the conversation.
Keeping business context accurate
The quality of Claude’s strategic reasoning depends directly on how complete and up to date your project’s identity is in Adsroid. If your positioning, audience, or offer changes, update it in your Adsroid project settings so Claude’s recommendations stay aligned.
This connects directly to [Understanding Projects] — the Project is the container, and Business Context is what makes each Project more than just a list of connected accounts.
