Google Ads Tools

Adsroid MCP gives Claude direct, structured access to your Google Ads account — over 70 dedicated tools covering the full account lifecycle, from deep performance analysis to campaign creation and live A/B testing. Every tool falls under one of the four action types: Analyze, Manage, Create, Test.

This page walks through what you can do, organized by area of the account.

Account & Campaign Performance

Get a complete read on your account, at any level of granularity — from a full account overview down to a single campaign, over any date range.

  • Account-wide performance snapshots (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, CTR, CPC)
  • Campaign-level performance and configuration (bidding strategy, budget, network settings, impression share)
  • Comparative performance across all campaigns, sorted by any metric

“Give me a performance overview of my account for the last 30 days, sorted by conversions.”
“Show me the current settings and bidding strategy of my Brand campaign.”

Ad Groups & Ads

Drill down into ad group and ad-level performance, including Performance Max asset groups.

  • List and analyze ad groups, filtered by status or scoped to a specific campaign
  • Detailed ad performance, including Ad Strength and responsive search ad content
  • Asset-level performance ratings (which headlines/descriptions are pulling their weight)
  • Performance Max asset group metrics

“Which ads in my Search campaign have the weakest Ad Strength?”
“Show me the top-performing headlines across all my responsive search ads.”

Keywords & Search Terms

Full visibility into what’s triggering your ads and how each keyword performs — plus keyword research to expand your account.

  • Keyword lists and performance, at account, campaign, or ad group level
  • Quality Score breakdown (quality, ad relevance, landing page experience, expected CTR)
  • Search term reports to catch irrelevant traffic
  • Keyword ideas and search volume/competition data for new keyword research
  • Negative keyword list management (view existing exclusion lists and their contents)

“Find search terms that are wasting budget on my Search campaign.”
“Suggest 20 new keyword ideas around ‘project management software’ with search volume.”

Audiences

See exactly which audience segments are targeted where, and how they perform.

  • List all audience segments available in the account
  • View which audiences are attached to a specific campaign or ad group
  • Audience-level performance metrics

“What audiences are currently targeted in my Retargeting campaign, and how are they performing?”

Device, Location & Schedule Breakdown

Slice performance by device, geography, or time — the classic levers for refining where and when your budget is spent.

  • Performance by device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
  • Performance by geographic location, at account or campaign level
  • Performance by hour of day / day of week

“Break down my campaign’s performance by device for the last 2 weeks.”
“What’s my best-performing region right now?”

Budgets & Bidding

Full visibility and control over how your money is allocated.

  • View current budgets and bidding strategy per campaign
  • Update daily budget amounts
  • Create new shared budgets that can be assigned across multiple campaigns
  • Adjust bid strategy parameters (Target CPA, Target ROAS, Manual CPC)

“Increase the budget on my top-performing campaign by 20%.”
“Create a shared budget of €50/day and prepare it to be assigned to two campaigns.”

Campaign, Ad Group & Ad Management

Direct control over the status of every layer of your account.

  • Enable, pause, or remove campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords
  • Adjust network distribution settings (Google Search, Search Partners, Display)

“Pause every ad group with zero conversions in the last 30 days.”
“Turn off Search Partners on my Brand campaign.”

Campaign Creation

Build a complete Search campaign from a single conversation — Claude handles the full sequence: budget, geo targeting, ad group, responsive search ad, keywords, and negative keywords, using Google Ads best practices for anything you don’t specify.

“Create a new Search campaign for [website], targeting France, with a €40/day budget.”

Ad Extensions & Assets

Manage the extensions that make your ads more visible and clickable.

  • View extensions attached to a campaign and their performance
  • Create new sitelink extensions and attach them to campaigns
  • Enable, pause, or remove existing extensions

“Add three new sitelinks to my Search campaign promoting our Q3 offers.”

Experiments & A/B Testing

Test changes safely before rolling them out to a full campaign, with real traffic-split control.

  • Create a new experiment and define control vs. treatment traffic split
  • Launch the experiment and monitor comparative performance in real time
  • Pause, end, or graduate a winning experiment into a permanent campaign

“Set up an A/B test on my Search campaign comparing the current ad copy to a new variant, 50/50 split.”

Conversions & Landing Pages

Understand what’s actually converting, and where.

  • View configured conversion actions and their tracking setup
  • Performance broken down by landing page URL

“Which landing page is converting best on my Lead Gen campaign?”

Change History

Full audit trail of what’s changed in the account and when.

  • Recent change history across campaigns, ad groups, and bids, with who made each change

“What changed in my account over the last week?”
